No, but there is a McDonald's right beside it and a hotel behind it that has truck parking.
Very great place to eat! It is family based business, so I wouldn't think they would be open any holiday.
No Great across the board. The besr fried pork anywhere
Very cute country restaurant with awesome atmosphere (interior is decorated like a country home) and fast friendly servers. There are just the basic country kitchen home style recipes but they are done well. The fried chicken was great.
Disappointing! Reviews looked great so we decided to stop in. We were seated immediately but it took 25 minutes to get drinks. Server comes up, asks for drink orders. Comes back again and doesn't say anything but "your order?" 45 minutes later we finally get our order. My daughters mashed potatoes are stone cold. She went and politely asked for some that were hot and was told to go find her server who was the same person she was talking to. We never saw our server again until we were leaving and hour and twenty minutes later. The rest of the food was good but service was severely lacking. Its safe to say we will not be going back.
One of my favorites! If you love southern home cooking, you'll love the Front Porch. Great fried chicken ever Sunday. During the week they have daily specials. Plates, sandwiches, salads and deserts...they have it all.The very best in cooked vegetables, like your grandmother use to do. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is charming country.
The food was ok, service was good, I had asked if the Steak and gravy was cubed steak or Chuck wagon I was told it was Cubed steak, it was not Cubed steak the mashed potatoes were instant the green beans were canned the tea even tasted instant. Truthfully the Best thing I had was the Cornbread it was very good! And the service was good!
We love the Front Porch. Any time we are traveling through the area we stop here.
Mmm mmm good
A quaint cabin style restaurant with excellent food! My daughter & I stopped here for dinner on a return trip from Florida. I ordered the special which was chicken & dumplings. This came with choice of biscuit or cornbread plus 2 sides. This was an excellent meal with great service & attention to detail. The chicken & dumplings were plentiful as well as hearty, with good flavor. My sides were delicious baked beans & fried green tomatoes. Let me tell you the fried green tomatoes were absolutely amazing! The cornbread was so moist, sweet & fresh, quite possibly the best I've had! Thank you for an outstanding meal! You can't go wrong here, just show up & these fine people will not disappoint!
Amazing little restaurant - exceptionally good food ( real home cooking ) - and exceptionally good quantities too. They don't skimp. And good old-fashioned prices ( not unreasonably inflated ). This is a MUST, if you're in the area 😀
Absolutely amazing food and service! Highly recommend stopping for some good southern home cooking!
Love this place. Southern comfort food done right and close to the interstate.
GREAT PLACE!!!!! The Food and Service was excellent. One of the Very Nice Ladies there even taught my student driver how to pronounce pecan. If your from the south you know what he was doing wrong..... lol
Really good fried chicken.. And good service
We were on a road trip. Tired and hungry and but didn't want to have the same fast food fare. We stumbled upon the Front Porch. We were not disappointed. Southern style comfort food at its best. Staff was friendly and inviting. Great food choices for vegans, children and everyone else;-). Everything we had was made from scratch...just like. Grandma's. If you're traveling through Rich burg,SC make this place a destination.
TRUCKERS OPINION: WE FINALLY FOUND GREAT HOME COOKING, the fried chicken is crispy on the outside so juicy on the inside good fried flounder flaky crispy the corn bread is spongy look so sweet and so good just the way cornbread should be the pecan pie the custard cream good fried squash the Fried Green Tomatoes The Sweet Tea all of it amazing amazing and all of it for $28 all home cooked mashed potatoes gravy and macaroni and cheese excellent this is the place. And the service amazing the people so friendly so sweet just worth every minute of stopping.... There is truck parking for big rigs it's a limited but there is some
Just good "country" food and friendly service. Been there many times and always the same. Thank you.
Love this place. We we always go here when passing through. Definitely a must try !
Thier environment, staff and food were all down home and welcoming. In spite of the extremely busy nature of the night the staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Our food took awhile to come out to the table, but the flounder as well as the burger plates were worth the wait.
Traveling home from Florida after a weeks vacation and this was by far the very best meal we’ve had on our trip. Great home cooking with superb service! A new favorite for our travels!
Good food nice friendly people. I had the baked ham dinner with side of fried okra and cucumbers in Italian dressing all was very good
I'd love their bake chicken it is to die for if you ever in the area of Richburg South Carolina you must go check it out you would not be disappointed. It's not a buffet
The best food . A great place to go.
Great staff, fair price but I personally didn't like that there were so many dishes given per meal. Works for those who dont like their food to touch but for me it was a clutter. Mac and cheese and beef tips was the best... but nothing else I tried was beyond average.
Great food, wonderful service!
Food was good but the paper plates and plastic silverware was a bust for dine in
The best country food I have ever had.I have enjoyed the food for more than 30 years.
Good old fashioned country cooking at very reasonable prices. Been eating there for years and plan on continuing to do so. Staff is always friendly and the food is awesome. The baked chicken is my absolute favorite item on the menu.
My god! Thank you and blessed everybody affiliated with this fine fine place!
It's very hard to find "home cooked" meals anymore under one roof, on our way back to West Virginia, this place came across our radar and it's worth the go, times 10.. great people and REALLY great food!! Can't wait to visit again.
My mother and family have visited several times after church services. My first experience was on 6/26/19 and it wasn't the best. I asked for my fish and fried green tomatoes crispy but both were hard on the outside while soggy inside. My uncle gave me one of his pork chops; the batter was the same for everything and was very salty. I probably won't visit again but my family will be back.
Collard greens should have been on the dessert menu. Most of food was pale; meaning nothing was cooked to a golden brown...the mac & cheese, the cornbread and the potato salad all had the same coloring - BEIGE. The broccoli & cheese casserole was filled with freeze-dried onions. The staff was pseudo friendly. I had an incident getting seated. The table that was being cleaned for me was given to people who were behind me. Instead of the woman rectifying it or apologizing she simply looked at me then back to the other customer and continued doing what she was doing. Definitely won't go back and definitely would not recommend. My advice to you would be to stay home and warm up some canned goods.
I had baked chicken, cabbage, Mac n cheese and cornbread. My mother had the BBQ plate which came with pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, French fries and hush puppies. All of the food was delicious. A must go to place
Delicious food. Great service. Best food in the Chester area hands down.
We were travelling and wanted some southern food. It was good but most food fried. It was just after their busy dinner hour, so they were out of a few things. It is a dry restaurant if that makes a difference. Very casual and visited by many locals.
Yummy and quaint... not quick but friendly. The mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes were both outstanding!
From MN and we thought this was the best SOUTHERN BBQ ever plus great service.
Amazing food, wonderful service, charming atmosphere! My family and I were just passing through on our way back from spring break when we stumbled upon this lovely "hole in the wall". I wish we lived closer! If you have the means, please stop by!
The peaple were friendly food was down home good. Was told the fried chicken was the best but I had beef tips in gravy they melted in my mouth
Went today we have heard about this place and drove 30 miles out of our way only to sit there 45 minutes and still no food people that came in after us got there food and were finished eating and we still sat there I had to get up and leave I was so frustrated and never once told us our food would be there shortly just ignored the heck out of us so no I will never go back and we were not 6 ft. Apart so I pray I didn't catch the virus over some food that I didn't even get
"Homemade" food was exceptional; friendly, prompt service; comfortable homey atmosphere. This was a random stop for lunch for us as we traveled and we're so glad we happened upon it! Easy access from Rt.77.
After a few hours on the road the dinner food was good and ready fast. It was appreciated by this weary traveler! It was a good alternative to the fast food that surrounds it!
Both the service and food were out of this world. This is exactly the type of place I love to find when I'm traveling.
Front Porch is a local institution. They serve southern cuisine in an unpretentious environment at very reasonable prices. This is not gourmet cooking. There are no new introductions to the menu. No one is experimenting back in the kitchen. This is a place that will serve you a delicious entree and side dishes, with no frills. The wait staff all seem to be family. They still write your order down on an old school pad and you pay at the register. I am partial to the barbecue plate, which comes with more food than should be eaten at one sitting! If you are looking for a family style restaurant with meals that taste familiar, this is your place.
Food is disgusting! Fried pork chops was over cooked & tasted like i was eating a piece of rubber!
The service was great and the food oh my God was great
Good food. Comfortable atmosphere.
Friendly efficient staff. Wonderful food and good portions. A quaint place for a great meal.
Great food, classic charm. The people that work here are almost from a different era. Polite, helpful and attentive. The place is a pleasure to be in. The food will not disappoint. It is great.
Small portions, high prices. Great southern cooking, but the prices were high for the amount of food served
Prices are great, right off the high way. If your on a road trip through the area this is the place you want to stop. Home cooking with great prices, no frills. Just like grandma use to make. Why stop at a fast food place when you can stop here. No American express cards though. This is definitely where you want your next fried chicken from. 1 meat 2 sides for 7.99. Can't beat it
Traveling through S.C.,chose this restaurant for the home cooking menu. Ordered unsweetened ice tea, thought I mistakenly got water, asked for the unsweetened tea . A man came to table and stared at me- did not introduce himself-so I asked if he worked there. I gathered that he was upset because he thought I complained.. I think the bottom line is- don’t order unsweetened tea
